If you have swapped out your original steering column with an aftermarket unit and need to connect the column to your steering box or rack and pinion, adding a slip shaft-style intermediate shaft is not only easier than guessing what length you would need to cut a new one, its also an excellent safety upgrade because its collapsible. This shaft is adjustable from 16" to 26" and is 1" DD by 3/4" DD. It will work with either two U-joints or a U-joint and rag joint combination.
