24100 - Crimp Pin Insertion/Extraction Tool - (White/Red Handles)

This tool is used to insert or extract Dsub crimp pins from the connectors. It is most commonly used for DB-9, DB-15, DB-25, DB-37, DB-50 connectors (regular pitch). These Dsub connectors use 1.0mm crimp pins. Can be used for clasp or barrel type crimp pins.  This tool is considered the "Universal Tool" Dsub tool. It is considered universal because techs do use it with other types of connectors and/or crimp pins. The tool end is brass and easy to reform for other applications, such as, car connectors. One end of the tool is brass, and is "U" shaped to reduce damage to the two locking clips. There are also tools identical to this tool that have a "C" shaped ends. If you prefer a "C" shaped tool, please see our #24101 tool. The other end of this tool is stainless steel full barrel type. It can be modified to use in a variety of applications. The tool can be separated in the middle, and the chrome end can be removed or permanently glued in place with crazy glue. We also have instruction on-line or may be included with your tool.

24101 - Crimp Pin Insertion/Extraction Tool - (Black Handles)

This tool is used to insert or extract Dsub crimp pins from the connectors. It is most commonly used for HP-15, HP-26, HP-44, HP-62, HP-78 connectors (half pitch). BUT, the ends of this tool can be widen slightly to work with
DB-9, DB-15, DB-25, DB-37, DB-50 connectors (regular pitch).
Half-Pitch connectors use a smaller crimp pin (0.76mm) then crimp pins (1.00mm) on regular pitched Dsub connectors. Can be used for clasp or barrel type crimp pins.  Both tool end are stainless steel, and are "C" shaped. If you prefer a "U" shaped tool, please see our #24100 tool. This tool CANNOT be separated in the middle, Neither end can be removed. We also have instruction on-line or may be included with your tool.
