Offered is a great looking 8.5" X 10" glossy color photo that is personally signed in gold ink by KEN NORTON who also added a handwritten inscription of "To Johny".
A Certificate of Authenticity from Ken Norton Enterprises dated April 30, 2005. is affixed to the back of the photo guaranteeing that Ken Norton personally handsigned the item.  Photo presents in o
verall fine condition, with some surface wear.  Minor paper loss/scuffing at edges due prior framing (not visible if photo is re-framed), none of which detracts from the bold and sharp signature.  See pictures to evaluate condition.
Ken Norton (August 1943 – September 2013) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1967 to 1981, and held the WBC heavyweight title in 1978. He is best known for his fight trilogy with Muhammad Ali, in which Norton won the first by split decision, lost the second by split decision, and lost the final by a controversial unanimous decision. Norton also fought a slugfest with Larry Holmes in 1978, narrowly losing a split decision. Norton was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1992.
