Our Best Value Kit
For Aniline and Pigmented leathers
The Leather Master Leather Care System is based on cleaning and protection, these are the regular needs required for leather.
Cleaning: eliminating dirt, soiling and removing stains from leather which helps to maintain its attractive appearance.
Protection: to guarantee the original quality of the leather and to maintain the new look even after years of use.
The Leather Master Leather Care System is based on 2 products:
Leather Master Leather Soft Cleaner
Leather Master Leather Protection Cream
The combined use of the two products guarantees the perfect cleaning of your leather as required, plus essential leather protection. Leather Protection Cream is a water based protector for all leather types except Nubuck.
Leather Soft Cleaner will clean various types of stains and soiling from Aniline and Pigmented leather. It is a water based product that penetrates into the surface to clean without harming your leather.
Leather Protection Cream is a product which will assist in repelling staining and soiling on your Aniline and Pigmented leather. At the same time it keeps your leather soft.
Protection Cream
Leather Master Protection Cream is a water-based protector for all leather types except Nubuck.
The Protection Cream places an invisible, breathable barrier between you and your leather. Our system is based on leather protection first, followed by a routine of cleaning and re-protection. With this method, you are not actually cleaning the Leather's original surface but cleaning from the surface of the protection coating. Since some leathers are very porous, the Protection Cream prevents stains from absorbing deep into the leather and becoming nearly impossible to easily remove.
Usually, protected leathers that have cracked or peeled are not damaged from use, but from body oils and perspiration that have settled down into the grain of the leather, dissolving the finish over time. The Protection Cream will assist in preventing the cracking and peeling when combined with basic cleaning and maintenance.
Protection Cream will also work to remove small surface scratches on aniline leathers.
Directions:
Simply apply the Protection Cream to a soft cloth and wipe it on evenly, paying particular attention to high use areas like seats, arms, front railings and backs. For anline leathers, it is best to apply the Protection Cream twice to all the high use areas.
We recommend fully cleaning and re-protecting your furniture 2-4 times per year. If a piece is subject to very heavy use, such as a favorite recliner or living room couch, it may need to be cleaned and re-protected more often. With leather, it is much easier to practice prevention than it is to try to resolve major challenges caused by disregard.
Soft Cleaner
For all leather types
Leather Master Soft Cleaner is a water-based cleaner that can be used on all leather types. It is a mild cleaner that will not affect the leather's original properties or finish.
Leather Master Soft Cleaner will clean most soiling as well as water-based stains. Most cleaners contain solvents like alcohol or mineral spirits; those type of cleaners will definitely clean, but also will attack either the finish or dry the leather out. Leather Master Soft Cleaner is solvent free and works without removing finish or harming the leather.
The only time that the leather cleaner could remove color or change the leather is under the following circumstances:
1. If the leather is not colorfast to any type of liquid. You can test this by wetting a soft, white cloth with distilled or purified water and wiping the leather. If color comes off on the cloth from only purified water, the cleaner (or anything else) will also remove color.
2. If the cleaner appears to have darkened the leather, it is extremely absorbent. The leather has shrunk. The leather has not gotten darker, but each dot of color has gotten closer together, thus giving the appearance of becoming dark. All you need to do is to stretch the leather by pulling it in all directions. You will see the color lighten.
