Gerardo Gonzalez better known in the boxing world as Kid Gavilan, was a former World Welterweight Champion from Cuba. Was named fighter of the year in 1953, Gavilan was voted by The Ring Magazine as the 26th greatest fighter of the last 80 years. Out of 143 fights he won 108 (28 were KO's), lost 30 and had 5 draws.
