Vintage Leather Stitching Wheel or Pie Crimper • Either this is the biggest stitching wheel I have ever seen, or it is something else. • This type of stitching wheel is generally used with leather craft projects. • It’s unusual in that the points are 9mm apart. That’s about 3 per inch. And, each of the points is 5mm wide instead of a pinpoint. • So, it could reasonably be used as a lacing guide where it marks the spots for a lacing chisel to be used to pierce the leather. • Alternatively it might be designed to be a simple pie crust crimper. • It’s made solidly, and has no identifying marks on it. • 6.25” long.
